2 tablespoons dried fruit (cherries, cranberries, apricots, mango...)
2 tablespoons finely ground flaxseed (optional)
Wet Ingredients
1/3 cup brown rice syrupl
1/2 cup creamy organic peanut butter (no sugar or salt added!!!)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
In a pan mix together all the wet ingredients on low heat until smooth and warm. This will activate the glue-like property necessary for keeping the bars together.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well (this might take some effort).
Transfer mixture to a glass dish lined with wax paper. Press into place. Cut pieces into 2" squares and save for future breakfasts or snacks.
