Quinn Asteakis a fashion-stylist turned Sustainable Farming Expert, board certified Health Coach and Healthy Cooking Expert. She’s an NYC expat currently livin’ it up in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.

She’s the owner of Health Coach Quinn and co-founder of {Healthy} Cooking Camp, which both aim to connect people with their food and teach them that healthy cooking can be easy, enjoyable and totally forking delicious.  asteaks poultry_portrait

Quinn started getting more connected to what she ate when she realized she had multiple food allergies and her diet was making her feel sick and tired everyday.  Cooking allowed her to heal herself physically (bye-bye bloating, acne, IBS and extra 20 lbs) and actually lead her to something even greater: emotional healing.

Cooking gave her the confidence to change careers, find clarity and ultimately, find herself (which just so happens to be a southern farm girl, who knew?!)

Quinn works with women who are chronic dieters, emotional eaters and/or have body image issues (so, most women).  Through deep emotional coaching and reeducation about the best possible foods for their unique body and lifestyle, she empowers women to take control in the kitchen in order to look and feel like the fine-ass dynamo they truly are.

In addition to coaching, Quinn is also the Executive Director the West Asheville Tailgate Market (Asheville’s #1 weekday farmer’s market), and the Program Manager at Ashevillage, where she designs and runs workshops around resilient living and using food as medicine.

She believes in connecting to your food by eating seasonally and listening to your gut.

Daily Candy recently proclaimed Quinn to be one of the “top ways to look and feel better”.  She has also been featured in NYLON magazine, Cosmopolitan, Health, SELF, Women’s Day, The Huffington Post, Urban Outfitters Blog, and Well + Good… to name a few.

  • Hi Quinn,

My name is Nyssa Tan. I’m currently enrolled in IIN (I’m in the Sept 2014 Chia group to be exact) and noticed that you graduated from there.I’m happy to have stumbled upon your blog. It’s so cute! And the information is very resourceful! (I just gargled with thyme as well per your article’s advice) I’m so excited to begin IIN and have received my welcome kit. I want to prepare myself for this journey and was wondering if you have any advice/tips for anyone starting IIN.

Hope you have a fantastic day.

    Stay healthy! 🙂
