Stop Fighting Food!!!

On September 16, 2014

Today I want to talk to those of you who have been struggling with food and weight for longer than you care to admit…

Ever feel like, no matter what you do, you’re always frustrated with yourself around food?

Do you worry you’ll never get “there” with food and weight? The place where you’ll finally feel comfortable in your skin, and free of all the “food noise?”

  • Maybe you always “do well” for a while until something manages to throw you off course…
  • Maybe you know you’re eating emotionally, but just can’t seem to stop…
  • Maybe body shame triggers you into the same old restrictive patterns that always backfire…

Ever feel like the noise around food and weight is just driving you a little crazy?Like, Dr. Oz is on the TV in one room, but the cookies are calling your name in the other?

I know it can feel like a lot. For a long time I unknowingly associated what I ate with my self esteem.

When I was eating “good” food, I was good.  When I was eating “bad” food, I was bad.  Everything I ate took on a deeper meaning.

So as I was consuming, I was internalizing these associations–and more often than not, shaming myself.

At some point, the diet-binge cycle and constant food noise, becomes so intrusive, that the only thing we want more than weight loss, is getting our sanity back.

That’s why I’m so grateful for coaches like Isabel Foxen Duke, founder of Stop Fighting Food the ultimate resource on “ending the crazy” around food.

Reclaiming women’s sanity around food is Isabel’s genius. Her unique approach gets women out of the diet-binge cycle, and into a state of mind where food stops ruling the world, and starts just being food.

This month Isabel is running a free video training series to introduce women to her work.

A fresh and different voice in the “emotional eating” world, I encourage anyone who relates to this email to sign up for her free videos if you dig her video trailer here.

A long-time fan of her work, I could not be more excited to see what she’s cooked up. (The one and only Ricki Lake’s a fan too 🙂

You don’t need to “keep trying” around food forever — there is a way out of the cycle entirely.

Here’s the link again to check out her vids, and sign up if it feels right!
