Five Faves: May 2014
Chef’n Force Fresh Citrus Juicer, $25. I love to start my day with some warm water and freshly squeeze lemon juice. It’s little liver cleanser that really gets my system going. To keep it simple (and seedless) I use this amazing lemon squeezer. It’s a little pricey, but it’s been worth every penny.
Forever21 “Island Girl” Straw Panama Hat, $15.80. Sun hats: putting the “fun” in functional since the beginning of (millinery) time…
Busy Mockingbird “Frida” pillow, $20. An artist mom starts the drawings, and her young daughter finishes them off. The results? Awesomeness. This site sells their collabos printed on pillows, mugs and more.
Tarte Glamazon 12-hour lipstick in “Fierce”, $26. Tarte is known for using all natural ingredients and their classic red is the only one on the market with long-lasting stay. I love this lipstick because I could feel like the biggest schlub in the world and if I put it on, I instantly feel glammed-up.
Manuka Doctor Bio Active Manuka Honey, $24. Honey is quite literally a perfect food. It is the nectar of the gods. It never goes bad. It’s a natural antibiotic and can help with seasonal allergies. This season has been especially rough with tree pollen. Take a teaspoon of this stuff (or stir it in your tea) and you’ll soon elevate your immune system to superhero status.
